API keys

Create a key in Settings → API keys. It is shown once, at creation — store it somewhere you will find it later, because there is no way to display it again. Keys are scoped, so a key that only needs to read positions should not be able to cut power.

The full endpoint reference lives in the dashboard under API docs, generated from the same definitions the API itself uses, so it cannot drift from reality.

Rotation

Keys can be rotated without downtime: create the new one, deploy it, then delete the old. Rotate on a schedule and whenever someone with access to it leaves.

RentalTide

If you run your rentals on RentalTide, connect the two and your Vectra assets map to RentalTide inventory — bookings line up with the asset that was actually out. A paid RentalTide plan also carries a standing 50% discount on Vectra service, checked live against your plan rather than applied as a code.
