Your first week
The five things worth doing before your tracker becomes furniture.
A tracker that only shows a dot on a map is a fraction of what you paid for. These five settings are what turn it into something that tells you when to act.
- 1Draw your operating area
One zone around where the asset is allowed to be. Alert on exit. This single geofence catches most theft and most customers going somewhere they agreed not to.
- 2Turn on the alerts you would actually answer
Geofence exit and tamper detection, at minimum. Route them to SMS if you want to know at 2am, email if you do not.
- 3Check the battery reading
Note the resting voltage now, while everything is healthy. A number you recognise is what makes a future reading obviously wrong.
- 4Send yourself a share link
Create one, open it on your phone, and watch what a customer or a tech sees. It takes a minute and it is the feature people forget they have.
- 5Run one report
Generate a week of usage even if the week is boring. You will want the habit before an insurer or a lawyer asks for it.
You have 30 days from delivery. If it is not doing what you hoped, tell us and we send a prepaid label and refund the hardware in full — but tell us what went wrong first, because most of the time it is a setting.
